"This restaurant has good atmosphere, good service, and fabulous food. I had read that the coq au vin jaune with morels was good, and it did not disappoint! It was a huge portion, so we probably didn't need to order a 2nd dish. However, as odd as it sounds, the salmon cooked in a curry sauce was exquisite. We did not leave hungry!Just bear in mind that French chickens are not stuffed full of water and forced to stand still in tiny cages, so it doesn't taste like the tender, plumped up, slightly bland meat we're used in the US. They turned several people away who did not have reservations, so be sure to call and make one before showing up on a weekend night."

"I was on a boys’ weekend for some wine tasting and thought I’d bring back something for the wife she might actually enjoy. Little did I know that I’d bring back some of the best chocolates I’ve literally every had in my life. And I’ve...had quite a bit from quite a few renowned French mchocolatiers. But this was just so impressive. Thought I’d come back to Arbois for the wine, but I think I’ll be back for the chocolate…"

"We tried several different wines, all very good including an outstanding trousseau. Enjoyable tapas. You need several If you want to make this a meal but most people seemed to have a drink and a nibble and move on. The riverside location was absolutely magical...on a warm June evening at dusk. Service was friendly and prompt."
