"Stopped here for a quick lunch on route. Extensive menu, delicious food including wide selection of homemade cakes. Friendly, welcoming staff. Central location within the town with parking very nearby. A lovely little tearoom, recommended, would eat there again if I'm in the area."

"I have already spoken to the manager about the issues personally so will not air the specific concerns here. Suffice to say that the common theme on TA involves service and this is where the restaurant falls down. There appeared to have been a public...dressing down to staff which I cannot condone as this is also a leadership issue. Food was actually good but staff need to be trained in the importance of hospitality. Italians are rightly proud of their food and patrons are normally made to feel part of the Italian experience inviting you into their establishment to enjoy their food. It doesn't have that feel....the food should be served with pride and care and not the way you would expect at a truck stop. A shame because this could be very good."

"Came here about 9:30 I believe on a Thursday morning. There were 4 members of staff. All talking not paying any attention to us or any other customers for that matter. I ordered one of there new lattes and they didn’t have it ordered another and another and and didn’t have those either. I asked what they would recommend and they were not at all helpful. So I ordered one of the Christmas ones but I was told they’d run out of cream. So my partner couldn’t have what he wanted either. So we spent a lot of money on drinks we disliked and left after a mouthful!"
