"The decor, the food, the price the location. Everything was perfect. The staff was quick to show me to table, given straight away was some complimentary garlic bread. As a large group the food ordered was alot but it was delivered quicker then expected. Tried some salmon and it was just perfect the saltyness of the sea was still present and not over cooked. The chicken risotto was tasty too but with little chicken, you can barely see or taste the difference between it and the mushroom risotto. The staff was friendly, helpful and could quickly clear the table without disturbing the group's conversation. Overall a wonderful experience."

"Incredible! I was a wee bit disappointed that they had run out of pork belly, but the ravioli more than made up for it. Obviously I'll just have to keep going back to see if they have pork belly. The staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming. Absolutely going back!"

"Went here with a friend around dinner time. Wasn’t as packed as we thought it would be. The restaurant was very dimmed and warm. It is good for a date location in my opinion. The food was spectacular I ordered their fettuccine carbonara while my friend ordered their Pappardelle (in photo), super delicious and melted in your mouth! The pricing was a bit high but it was understandable due to the quality of the food, the taste of it definitely made up for it.<br/>The service was nice here, they were always smiling which is a bonus."

"We had a quick lunch Tuesday afternoon. Excellent service from the waitress! The food was delicious, especially the 3 cheese bread on the entree menu. We ordered from their normal menu but have fantastic lunch time specials. Would definitely recommend."

"Great night we had for my friend’s hens night! We had Kirk as our waiter and did a great job entertaining our table of 17 ladies The games were really fun and the food was so tasty and filling! The tiramisu was sooo yummy too! Thanks Joyce and the team for a memorable night!"

"Perfect for a Sunday dinner for two. Arrived early, we were promptly shown to our seats (we were allowed to choose any seating, as it was a hot afternoon). The waitress was very friendly and helpful as it was our first visit we were recommended her favourite mains. The food arrived very quickly! We started with a garlic pizza and beef ragu which were both amazing, fresh ingredients and delicious! Our mains arrived shortly after perfectly cooked sirloin steak and mushroom/truffle risotto, both dishes cooked perfectly with great flavours. Finishing with the Italian Tiramasu, which was perfect, not too sweet. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Great staff, happy to explain the food to new customers, great experience and food all around! We will be back, thanks!"

"Very nice environment and service.<br/>p1. Caramelized pancake no fluffy enough 2.5/5<br/>p2. Polenta bites made of cornmeal. It tasted great with sauce and even better to eat it cool . 4/5 <br/>p3. "This cosy Italian restaurant is one of my favourite in the Kingsland Ponsonby area. Feels like authentic regional Italian food, with a more bespoke menu, rather than a generic list of every Italian dish under the sun. The homemade pasta is fantastic, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Perfect for date night or a family dinner. Owner is passionate about traditional food from the Puglia region and is a fantastic host. Special mention of the affogato which comes with a mini Moka pot of fresh coffee and the delicious tiramisu."
