"They're always has to be a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant wherever you live. I'm thrilled to announce that we have found our favorite Mediterranean restaurant here in bakersfield. Flame and skewers Mediterranean food met our expectations (which are typically high) for takeout. Their portion for the price is great. The flavoring of the food as well as the freshness seemed to be on par. Overall they were rather quick to get our food to go."

"My first time here. The food was great. The falafel was really good. The chicken samosa was really good as well. I came with 7 people and they all loved there food. The chicken shawarma and the hummus were great as well. They were very generous with their portions. Jawad(owner) was very nice and hospitable."

"Stopped in to pick up food to go and 40 minutes later I was leaving. They were too busy doing a catering event! The owner kept interrupting the guy to do things for catering rather than wait on the people in the dinner to go. It was very disorganized and after the long wait the food was nothing very good. The Cannolies had coconut in them. Never in all my travels have I had anything so awful! Will never go back!!! The people in Bakersfield do not know what good food is and settle for what is served to them!"

"This place was pretty good! The must have is the hummus platter with falafel! I have never tried falafel that was crispy and not dry and full of flavor. The beet and edamame hummus was really delicious ! I’m giving it 4 stars because the meat and chicken could have a little tweak on flavor but was cooked amazingly! The service there was on top of every person walking in and dining in which was refreshing ! Also the baklawa was really good Definitely would come again"

"I'm originally from Germany and over there Kebab, Gyro or Döner is at every corner. I was looking for something close to what I had back home and then I found pita paradise. I was really impressed by the variety of their Menu. The Prices are really affordable. I had a conversation with the worker or owner which I believe it was and I felt welcomed there. I would for sure recommend this place . The only thing that bothers me is that it's downtown which I try to avoid do to the crime . ? I'd come back for sure ?"

"Disgusting. I ordered salpicón and the meat was old and dry and it tasted like it was going bad. The Pupusas were half raw half well done. They didn't check up on us if it wasn't just to give us or food or drinks. No wonder this place is always empty! they also over price their stuff and it's not even worth it."
