"Amazing lunch the other day. Decided to try the Vegetarian Menu for a change and it was yummy. You can't go wrong with crushed avacardos on brown bread topped with a variety of seeds, tomatoes, mushrooms, roti salad and baked beans. I passed on these but had an extra flat mushroom instead. A pot of English tea and a Vanilla Slice for afters. My friend had the same which we thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent, ambience warm and welcoming. Thank you Patisserie Valerie for a super lunch."

"I booked afternoon tea on line, however when we reached the restaurant they thought we were going for lunch so we had to wait for over an hour for food to be prepared. I also phoned which took over 30 mins to inform them in advance that a member of the booking was gluten free. It would be much easier to phone st anns directly, however I had to go through Double Tree booking system which was unnecessarily complicated and as evidenced, entirely useless. The quality of the food was also poor, however I expect this was due to food being prepared on the spot defrosted?"

"I like Pinewood Café as it feels like having breakfast at a good friends house. It's Child and dog friendly with fish tanks, parrot, cat and Shadow the Café German shepherd dog. I like the cooked breakfast, especially as they happily swap the eggs for black pudding! It serves typically café type food but has a bar."
