"I usually go to Puccini's which is closer to home and always makes nice pizza however I decided to give Mediterranean Flavours a go. After ringing several times and getting a voicemail they rang me back, which I was happy with. I was informed the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. When I got there at the 15 minute mark approx., I was told ten more minutes. Half an hour after I originally placed the order they informed me that there were no pizza's that night (something about the dough failing) and offered to make something else for the same price which I declined. Contacted Puccini's and got a great pizza in ten minutes at a lower cost than I would have paid at Mediterranean Flavours."

"We are up and down for many years and the food is always very good. The current place feels tired and dated, which is a real shame. The restaurant is rarely humming, so often there is a lack of atmosphere. As mentioned, the food is very good, but as a total experience and the “so when we go back” test) its hard to give it more than 3 stars"

"Saturday night is clearly a busy time, and they are clearly a popular restaurant (bear this in mind when planning). Authentic Italian atmosphere with a family run feel to it, the atmosphere is delightful. The food is pretty good, good flavours, with subtlety and attention to detail make a good Italian meal. What really let them down was sitting on the outdoor veranda that runs down side of the restaurant in the middle of a cool (by Brisbane standards) winter's night in the gap between heaters and waiting about 45 minutes for the pasta main course. Some 30 minutes in they offered garlic bread (but this wasn't a freebie by way of apology for the wait as it transpired at the time of paying the bill, just a distraction offered by staff). Don't dine on a tight budget. Don't get sat outside feeling cold and hungry."
