"As I walked into the sunrise it smelt amazing, I ordered duck pancakes and salt and pepper chips. this meal was the best Chinese meal I have ever had in my life! The generosity of food was amazing I highly recommend coming to this Chinese it is well worth it and the staff are lovely ! the food is top tier.i highly recommend coming to this Chinese. Best Chinese food in Cumbria without a doubt."

"Went for lunch here yesterday and have to say how amazing it was, we sat outside and they supplied a bowl of water for my dog Buster. Had black pudding, goats cheese and chutney panini followed by the most amazing cheesecake I have ever tasted...... Roasted hazelnut Ferraro. OMG lush is not the word will be back again soon"

"2 hour wait for delivery, and still the order was short. Didn't bother to ask for the missing food. Otherwise it would be another 2 hour plus wait. But the food is fine."

"Xmas lunch for 4 persons at 99 pounds each. The quality of the meal was terrible. The turkey was cut in 1/2 thick slabs of extremely dry processed meat. The xmas pudding was bitter and rounded meal off with a mouthful of coffee grounds. The general atmosphere of the restaurant reflected the disappointment felt by many. Chatted with other customers outside who were of the same opinion, one of whom had booked for a party of 9 quoting it as a 1000 pound school dinner"

"Reasonably good food, interesting place though. Burger could have done with less oregano in and more seasoning, the buffalo wings were a bit lack lustre (not very saucy and a bit overcooked deep fried and my order was incorrect on two counts (wrong side and wrong beer! But the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are nice it is also not overpriced. Inside it is an eclectic mix of run down shabby chic, mis matched furniture and great music. You can definitely chill out here and not be rushed. A little tweak to the food the rubs are great though, don't change these and Carlisle has a cracking little BBQ American food restaurant."

"Our takeaway was perfect. The authentic and well prepared food is always a pleasure to have. The service always friendly. Don't be put off by the shabby counter front, the quality of food is outstanding. Highly recommended is the salt n pepper chicken. We will be returning regularly."

"Being somewhat of a western Chinese food enthusiast, I have sampled the delights of many different takeaways. Sunny’s is a delight. The curry is by far the best in town. It’s the right consistency, the perfect blend of spice (but not blow your head off spice). They also have a great Chinese bbq sauce that makes every dish better. Fully recommend."
