"My wife and I have stayed here before and recently came back for a weekend of wine tasting and relaxing in Dahlonega and had another great experience. The hotel is small and quaint and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s not a chain which we like and the location is perfect right near the town square and walking to everything downtown. The rooms are rather spartan but I like the technology (door codes no keys, Hulu and Netflix TV) as well as a coffee pot and fridge in the room. There is a local breakfast place that will deliver to your room in the morning for cash or Venmo (food was good but was fairly cold). In the lobby they also offer wine tastings from Kaya vineyards as well as glass and bottle service. We really liked having wine on the porch out front. Additional if you are part of the DSH wine tour (highly recommend it) they pick up right in front of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!"

"We were in town for a wedding. Stopped in for some BBQ with the gf and her mother. Was really looking for ribs but they didn't have any that day. The meat was delicious with the home made sauces. otherwise it's prepared smoked meat. The cobbler swayed our decision to come here versius the other place in town. It wasn't peach season so the cobbler was firm not so tender peach pieces. Service: Dine in"
