"The hotel is located on a hill above a small town but is on a vineyard. The rooms are nice and efficient. The restaurant is magnificent and we had an exceptional meal. My husband had the 3-course meal which started with an amuse-bouche of asparagus panacota. The panacota was perfectly executed. I was quite impressed and was looking forward to the next couse. 2nd course was a fish over asparagus also delicious then came the palate cleanser a cucumber sorbet ... wow I could eat that everyday! The main meal was a very tender beef cheek and beef sous vide, less tender but tasty. As my main meal, I had the fish over risotto with asparagus which was a delight. We finished with a nice dessert. Overall a superb meal, best meal we ever had travelling in Germany. Congratulations to the talented Chef and thank you!"

"Hans Caspari verraste ons met een heerlijke maaltijd. Vleesgerechten in allerlei soorten en maten. Maar andere keuze is ook mogelijk. Mooi opgediend. En dat voor een scherpe prijs. Eerder aten we ertegenover op het terras: Café Caspari Dat was ietsje goedkoper, maar zeker niet zo goed als Haus Caspari. Als je moet kiezen, kies dan Haus Caspari. Veel beter voor een beetje meer geld."

"Essen war gut. Interessant war jedoch die Bestellung des Essen und der Getränke. Dem Kellner ging es aber anscheinend nicht schnell genug mit der Bestellung, weil er in die Gebärdensprache verfiel.Insgesamt schien das Personal komplett überfordert gewesen zu sein."

"Als erster Treffpunkt für unser Familientreffen haben wir das Restaurant Schaarschmidt ausgewählt. Es liegt sehr schön an der Ahr und um 12 Uhr wurde der Smocker abgemacht so dass es lecker nach Holz roch. Die Karte war dann leider deutlich kleiner als erwartet. Gerne hätten wir Spargel gegessen aber war leider nicht im Angebot. Geschmacklich war es lecker wenn man Fisch vom smocker mag (etwas trocken). Wiener Schnitzel lecker. Der gemischte Salat übersichtlich. War ok und Services war sehr freundlich"

"After a beautiful hike through the wine mountains of the aars we had hunger. we always look at the tables, at all places where only drinks were consumed we were over. So we returned to the stock. We typically wanted to eat. something other than a flame cake. I ordered a boarding board my wife with a kartoffel salad. the carving and the carrot salad as a grandmother. tasty (I was allowed to taste) the broth-time plate with a lot of broth and cold cut, very tasty and apetitiously dressed. we like to come back."

"Breakfast was good! room nice, but unfortunately, the bed was old and through, if the second person was going to take a shower, the hot water opened at the departure that our car was blocked by a parked car of other men who had told me that no one would leave that day."
