I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and two things have remained consistent- the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. I moved out to west Des Moines and still make the drive here for the food and atmosphere."

"Love your food! Your Taco Tuesday deal is amazing! 5 tacos ( chicken or beef and hard or soft peeled) for $5.99! And your Tres Lecheskuchen shall die! They also have amazing (and very large) breakfast Burritos. Try the chorizo and the egg! One of my favorite restaurants, no doubt."

"It was my first experience at Fernando's today and it was great! There was a line as it was lunch time but they kept the line moving quickly. We didnt have to wait long. They fixed our burritos exactly as we asked amd they were hot and fresh. They are good size burritos so I felt the pricing was fair. I will definitely return to Fernando's and would recommend to others as well."

"Mariscos El Capitan is nothing more than mediocre Mexican food with a bill so far apart. The chips we ate with our salsa tasted as if the oil was never cleaned, cooked too hot, or the tortillas had expired. The michelada did not have enough chamoy. When we brought it up our waitress she switched with the bartender for the remainder of our time. My carne asada burrito hardly had any meat inside. It pressed down on the skillet to appear larger than actual size. To wrap up. Drinks took 15 minutes to hit the table. Another 35 for food and it was post lunch on a Friday. Bartender was the best part there."

"This place was super cute modernized! The food was really good! However, I probably won't go back because they didn't have any queso! And to me tacos and queso are like peanut butter jelly! And a Mexican place with no queso is like Chinese with no crab Rangoon! Anyway, super cute place!"

"Fighting burrito is amazing. These are the best tasting burrito I've eaten. My favorite is the Sweet Susan. Tho you can make your own I prefer the burritos on the menu. Only downfall is the price, on the high end. Worth going to for sure."
