"I paid a few visits to Artisan since they opened and every time was delighted! From the Valentines Day special cherry heart to the beautiful Opera, everything I tried was great. (Definitely recommend the cannelé! These guys Know what French pastry is!"

"Great place and quiet friendly atmosphere. On both occasions I have eaten there we were lucky to be seated in a comfortable space. But I did note on my way to the toilets that this would be bothersome to the dinners seated in the adjacent tables.<br/ <br/ The food was fantastic, well presented and served. This restaurant is a wee gem and I would encourage anyone to eat there. I just hope that they are lucky to be seated in the comfortable areas with no or few distractions so that they can enjoy the great experience."

"No doubt some of the best cabinet food in Dunedin. For something sweet try the almond croissant, and if you’re after something savoury don’t look past the pork fennel sausage roll. Great value for a decent serving including a salad of your choice. Coffees have always been good, hot and cold, and the free sparkling water is also a nice addition. Sometimes the service can be a bit hit or miss, however the food and atmosphere make up for it."

"My family and I went here after a trip to the art gallery and it was lovely. We got the small fries (pictured below) and pear and Berry slice if I remember correctly. In terms of gluten free options in the cabinet they had brownies and one other slice, plus the fries were gluten free. Fries were perfectly crunchy and my dad enjoyed the slice. Always a pleasure to go here"

"Staff are extremely friendly. The best coffee and food hands down in Dunedin. The staff put a lot of pride into their service and menu ,and it truely shows. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. The vegan cake is the best I have ever tasted. Amazing."
