"Service was actually embarrassing. Waiter had NO IDEA how to place the order. We requested 4 wagyu steak dinners with sauce on the side for 2. This was on the “special” menu for the night. This request baffled the waiter who advised us he will just “put sauce on the side for all 4”. We said no and explained again. Then we requested all 4 be cooked medium and were told, “the chef will do what he wants”. After explaining a 50 steak should be cooked to order, he said he would ask. Then after delivering appetizers we asked if the orders went in properly. He then replied, he asked for 1 dish to have sauce on the side. We said 2, 2 dishes need sauce on the side and felt like we were in another planet. Frankly it was bizarre. Lastly after being treated rudely we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for the food to come it came out WARM. Not hot. 52 dollars a dish the meal should be hot. 2 dishes were swimming in sauce. The others no sauce but all the steak was sliced and the sides were slopped together under the meat. That was NO WHERE in the description. The food was like a sloppy combo dish and overall just OK. Bottom line we were ridiculously disappointed. Have eaten there several times pre covid and it was awesome. This was the first time back since. Unclear what happened but we couldn’t get out of restaurant fast enough. Before we left we had the pleasure of watching our waiter spill coffee all over floor and next table and not clean it up from the table or the floor despite the spill happening over 15 minutes. People had to step over the wet area and they were lucky no one slipped. Maybe it was an off night but for 350 we won’t be back. MAJOR Disappointment."
