"We were very impressed by harrys bar. the tapas were excellent and lived in Spain, it was much better than everything there. we sat outside with our pooch and was a very relaxing atmosphere. what was also great was the service. liam, the bartender, was helpful, good and very friendly. we have found that harry’s bar is a social company and offers training for those who have challenged and need this support and advice when looking for work and future. we will definitely come back."

"Day three of our trip to Edinburgh and we stopped in here for a wee drink whilst we perused the options for supper. Littlest Foodie likes a JD Coke. I'm not a whisky drinker, other than the odd Rye Dry, and I didn't expect them to have Canadian Club. They didn't and I didn't have a clue what to order but the very helpful none native barman, whom I could barely understand, recommended a nice smooth whisky (Aberfeldy) of which I enjoyed over ice. Whilst sipping it we looked at the other whiskies on the menu and we both tried Monkey Shoulder, which has an interesting history to it. Again that's a smooth whisky; LF wasn't a fan but I rather enjoyed that one too! That's enough whisky for me. Can't comment on the food, we didn't have any but the staff and friendly and it's quite a chilled place to sit and chill for half an hour early evening."

"Amazing place with great prices. We came in on a Wednesday evening looking for a drink and we’re primarily the only customers which was surprising as the bartender/owner, Mike, was extremely friendly and talkative with us. Being a fellow bartender, we had a lot to talk about. The bar has some of the best prices we’ve encountered in Edinburgh and a great environment. I especially like that the upstairs area including the full bar is available for private parties."
