"Um… the brown butter latte is something I’ve never had before or heard of… and Jeepers I wish coffee houses by me would make it. Because… ?The avocado toast is scrumptious for a lighter fare. And they make their own pickled onions… yes please!If I ever find myself back in this adorable town, I will be sure to make a trip here.Dietary restrictions: They can help with any suggestions for restrictions or taste."

"Over the years, my hubby has become very picky about what kinds of coffee he drinks...and there is NONE that he likes better than Black Pearl!He loves supporting local businesses also, but it's not just about local business loyalty with Safari....they just roast a delicious bean!I'm not a coffee snob like him hahaha but I can taste the difference (and smell the difference) when he brings Black Pearl home! We are so looking forward to our order getting here because we moved away from Escondido a few years ago and whenever we can grab some Black Pearl, it's a special treat!!!my hubby surprised our brother in law (who moved from CA to FL) with 2 pounds of Black Pearl a few months ago, and it made his day!!! Definitely give that roast a try!!!"

"I have my morning tea at the Blue Mug at least once or twice a week. You have a wide selection of tea and coffee, and they make it fresh when you order. You will mix different teas (and probably coffee) for you when you ask. Your other location near the Escondido Country Club is also beautiful, but I love the original in downtown. The prices are great and it is a fun place to watch for people."
