"Walk in 3 course lunch on a Thursday for 2. Busy Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely waterfront views. Good decor and service. Food is yum and well presented. One of my dishes however lacked flavour and there was a menu item that was not available. The Eton Mess was not well balanced or should I say not to my liking as it was too sweet. Requested cream to bring down the sweetness and was served a white chocolate cream. Wouldn’t mind giving Harbour House a second go."

"I love the bagels, smoothies, and coffee at this cozy spot, and the playground nearby is a bonus. However, I noticed the staff could use more training when taking orders. On a visit on September 17th afternoon, we couldn't sit inside due to the staff preparing off-menu food , and the strong smell was filling the place, which was a bit disappointing."

"What a wonderful experience dinning out at Kalky's! We didn't just go there once we returned at least 6 times, on a 10 day holiday. The portion sizes are fantastic the food quality taste is out of this world the service is excellent! Just dont expect much in terms of decor and style...but if you want a true Cape Town experience...then this is definitely the place to go!! It is clean, and the atmosphere is warm and charming. You feel right at home, the minute you walk in! You place your food order at the counter – and once it has been prepared, a waitress brings it to your table. The service is really fast and very efficient! The food comes out on a platter, and you collect your own plates, plastic knives forks, and serviettes from the front of the restaurant before you eat. There are paper cups for those who drink a cooldrink – and wine glasses, for a lovely selection of local wines. We were mostly served by Gadija – who is an absolute treat!! True Cape Town local character – in her sayings antics…we loved her conversations and quirky humor! I would highly recommend Kalky’s to any traveler – as it is such an awesome experience…a definite MUST stop when visiting Cape Town!!"

"I have so many photos of Knead dishes on my phone, it's difficult to choose! I have to say Knead is our absolutely MUST HAVE breakfast spot. They are part of the Entertainer and they were the first venue that we finished all our coupons on LOL. The staff are always friendly, the beach view is always great, our food order has never been messed up or with issue. One tip though would be to arrive before 9am on the weekends, it's always pumping! However the staff certainly make a plan to find you a table should you arrive at a busy time, it just may not include the stunning view :"

"Yummy cocktails, great vibe, relaxing view and wonderful, eclectic cuban decor. We had a bit of a battle with some flies, so I would suggest some no fly candles. I'm looking forward to revisiting for some tapas and more cocktails!"
