"Visited Caroline for the Big Iron Stampede, which has a parade through this pleasant little Alberta city. We stopped at Jens for breakfast, which proved to be very good. Two Bacon, two eggs and French toast. Many coffee refills, if desired and very pleasant serving staff. The Bacon was the typical North American stuff, IE thin crispy. Not what we would call British REAL Bacon. Later on the day after the stamp we called again to an evening meal. The selection is limited to the usual small cafe type items, many burger type things with frits in the main. I actually had Veal Cutlets with engraving on the side that was very good. The saloon next door can also supply food from Jens-Café if necessary, but for some of the locals there. Even at 6:00 a.m. some were definitely the worse for then!"
