"Well it has been over 10 years since I have reviewed this place. I was hesitant at first to come due to hearing that the ownership has changed. Glad to say that I was able to come by, try the food and say that the food is still fresh, and the experience is still great. When we went by around 11:45 on a Monday, me and my friend was able to get a table right away. Luckily we went earlier as the tables started to fill up. There was a lady server who was patient and very nice, and always came by to refill our green tea. Food Decided to try what I ordered a long time ago, the beef teriyaki combo and the Charashi Bowl. We were served right away a bowl of miso soup and green tea. The Beef Sashimi Combo was still awesome, and we were able to switch out the Albacore for more of the yellow tail and salmon. The beef was still great, always good to have some hot food too, because too much sashimi could be overwhelming. The Charashi bowl is STILL A MUST. Just packed with goodness, even sweet shrimp and scallop, even great to share with someone. Again I was happy to be able to revisit this placed and discover not much of the food has changed. Will definitely try to visit again if I am around the area! Until next time!"

"A solid 4.5! We came as a party of 10. Loved that they have a nice patio, ambiance was great! Speaking of the food, I really enjoyed the first 3 cold dishes, especially the beef tartare, it was to die for. Beef tongue and beef cheek ox tail soup were also on point. However, most of us didn't really enjoy the veggies both veggie dip and marinated tomato) I know those were for cleansing our palate, but flavor wise, they were pretty plain. My biggest complaint would be their prime rib eye selection, they were too heavy with the seasoning. It didn't really compliment the meat. Besides that, Filet mignon was good with the bone marrow rice, they really made that bone marrow rice to perfection. So delish! The star dish throughout the night was the A5 wagyu, 100% melt in your mouth It also tasted great with the poached egg, very buttery! 10/10. All in all, great food great ambiance, great table service and amazing presentation. We all enjoyed the meal, def worth trying! Side note: The price can be easily up to $150 $180+ if you decided to opt for a few cocktails to enjoy $15+ each) FYI, their cocktails were VERY mediocre. We tried 4 that night."

"My husband and his company always eat here during their lunch breaks. Every day) since 2007 I would eat 2 hours traffic just here for our all time favorite spot lunch and dinner) My husband and I would stop here, even though we just arrived from Japan. They have excellent service Excellent servers Excellent food love their clean toilet."
