"We stopped in here for lunch the other Sunday. There was a queue for the Cafe at 2.30pm which was fairly slow moving but there were chairs to sit on. The queue for the Coffee Shop on the other hand moved briskly. The food was delicious if rather pricy. Between us we had Eggs Benedict, a Chicken and Bacon Omelette and a Bacon Muffin, two coffees and a Coke. The bill came to £34. However the quality of the ingredients, preparation and presentation went some way to justifying the cost. The service was friendly and faultless. The coffee is simply excellent."

"Visited Harlow Carr today; Purchased the new Picnic Box from Betty,s Tea Room. It was a lovely treat, we had a selection of Sandwiches, Quiche, a Fondant Fancy and to finish off a Jam Scone which we brought home and had with a cup of tea later. It comes well packaged and we paid, an extra £2 for a drink. Well worth the money and so convenient. WELL Done great idea and defiantly winner."
