"I remember when they 1st opened must have been 2013. My coworker introduced me too a simple strawberry n cream cheese bagel, so i decided to go in myself explore the menu. I originally got the turkey bacon on Dutch crunch bread, with avocado n everything it comes with. Till this day its still great. Plus it's nice to have the original staff know not only your name, but your order when stopping by or even calling it in. Everything on their menu is good. Lox city."

"Sugar Shack Cafe is a great place to have breakfast in Huntington Beach. The servers are friendly, the food always comes out quick and hot, and they don't skimp on the food they serve you. There are three dining areas on the premises. The first and most notable is their front patio. This is a great place to people watch. You may have to sign in and wait, to sit in this area, as it's the most popular. Inside is always cramped, but they have some great old surfing photos of Huntington Beach on the walls to gander at. There is a fairly large patio in the back, where you usually won't have to wait to be seated. My favorite here is a ham, mushroom Swiss cheese omelette. This beauty comes out oozing with cheese, packed with smoky ham steak chunks and sliced sauteed mushrooms. Very buttery tasting, as well. YUM. Hash browns are perfectly golden brown crispy. My wife and I would come here early on the weekend, whenever we were headed to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, to do some birding. If you can get here around 8am on weekends, then you'll beat the rush. Parking can be difficult to find on Main St., but they do have several parking garages close by on Main St., just north of the Sugar Shack, one on each side of the street. They are also famous for their French toast here. So yummy!"

"Best jalapeño and cheese bagel i’ve ever had. One bagel with cream cheese is enough to fill someone with a hearty appetite. There is a great selection of cream cheeses available and even a drive-thru for when you don’t want to hop out of the car. Have been a fan since my first bite. My only small criticism is that occasionally they will toast the bagel a little too much and char some of the outside (see below) but it doesn’t happen frequently enough for me to drop a star."
