"Had an hour to kill before a meeting and stumbled across this place on the drive into Kettering. It’s cash only, unusual these days but if it works for them. I’m just glad I had some cash. It’s clearly a popular place with the locals. The staff were friendly, service was good and the Full English Breakfast was a good size, freshly cooked and really hot. Well worth £8 (includes Tea and Toast)."

"Great pub on the housing estate. Looks like a converted and extended house. Lunch menu and food excellent. Large pub, restaurateur and terrace area. Lots of TV for sports with pool tables. Value for money"

"Sometimes a vegan menu means about 4 5 options, but the lounges offer an actual full and large vegan menu including breakfasts, mains, sides and desserts! My favourite is the falafel and avocado wrap, and their new carrot cake is also delicious. We have gone to this particular branch a lot and usually get great service, even some staff are vegan which is great to see. Ps if you ask for it they usually have veganaise in stock"

"Been for lunch at The Beeswing before and it was excellent, if a bit pricey for an estate pub. However, went again over the weekend, and it was really disappointing. I ordered the tandoori chicken which was 90% coleslaw, 7% Naan and 3% actual chicken, which for £14, felt like sloppy robbery. My daughter had the standard burger £11.50 which was like chewing on a grenade; the outer crust of the meat was practically impenetrable, even after dunking it in the pot of gravy which they were kind enough to make for her kids! . My wife ordered the veggie pizza but asked for it with no peppers. When it came out, it was like a ruddy pepper parade! Never seen so many of the colourful, flavour-blighting, sods! Easy to pick off, but it's fair to say the mushrooms were tainted. My son's chicken burger was great, and they kindly added some hot sauce for him, so at least one of the meals wasn't a total horror show. Staff are great in there, so we didn't complain but they need to get some quality control in the kitchen, especially for the prices they charge. Meal salvaged by a couple of pints of Madri, which was an utter delight."
