"We decided to check out the Platzo New Year's Day and this was just about the only place open so we went in for a London fog and mocha. Our barista daughter was impressed by the fresh espresso grinding and loose leaf tea. Add .25 for take out drinks. Rustic atmosphere and decent seating available. Owners pleasant."

"We (4 of us) walked in to the shop today. There was one other customer standing to the side. I walked up to the counter to order our drinks and instead of being greeted with a smile and a hello I got growled at by the clearly angry woman behind the till who said step back so I can serve these drinks .. She then placed 2 paper cups on the counter. Um ok. I guess you could have said...sorry if you could step back I am about to serve the other customer... But nope. The only word I have that comes to mind to describe this woman starts with a C and is followed by 3 more letters. My partner tapped my arm and said do you really want to give our money to a business that really doesn't want us here? Nope... We left.... Too bad it looked cute. I wouldn't spend a dime there and in this current economic climate, you would expect people to make an effort.. this woman probably should find a different job. Save your money. Go somewhere else."

"This place is not longer really in business. It advertises it is open for brunch, lunch, dinner. Went out of our way on a road trip to go here for brunch but there was a sign on the gate that said you must call ahead for seating for all meal times. No specification on when you have to call by. Tried to call but no answer. Apparently they don't even open if no one calls way in advance and there's no way to know that's what you are supposed to do. Do they open if only one person calls? Who's to know?"

"Great artisan coffee in a book shop with funky modern decor. The third coffee shop in the platzl and a welcome, different take on coffee. PS all three serve great coffee with just a different atmosphere to the shop. The Snow Drift likely has the best food."
