"Wow, what a treasure! Nom's restaurant is the real deal, serving Thai food cooked with love. We had two different styles of Kuaytiew Tom Yum noodle soup and were quite blown away at the quality of the dishes and flavor balance. Dishes were cooked to order and portions were large considering the price was so low. Chef/owner Nom was an absolute delight to talk with and offered prompt, attentive service and some nice conversation. Seek this place out if you are in Koh phangan, you won't regret it!"

"Top knotch English breakfast at Red's, the real bacon rashers and breakfast sausage are a rarity in Thailand, and the fried toast is a nice touch. Very good coffee and the free-to-use pool table makes this a great choice to nurse your morning hangovers."
