"Disastrous Experience at Silver Beach Resort Restaurant I recently dined at the Silver Beach Resort Restaurant, and my experience was appalling. The Chicken Sandwich I ordered was anything but edible. The meat was gray, undercooked, filled with bones and skin. The fries were barely thawed and cold. When we reported the issue to the servers, they made us wait indefinitely. After finally addressing the owner, she became furious, refusing to take any action, claiming she paid for the food. The peak of the ordeal was when I tried to take a photo of the faulty burger, and the owner violently snatched my phone away to quickly remove the plate. To my astonishment, she returned later to take photos of me, threatening to report me to the police during a routine check. This unacceptable behavior, coupled with spoiled meat, makes this place one to avoid at all costs. The owner, an elderly woman with Gucci glasses, should reconsider her management and attitude towards customers. Steer clear of this establishment for your own well-being."

"We stayed at Dara Samui for 6 nights and it was a great value for money. The property is tightly managed, professional and efficient staff, anything raised gets addressed immediately. Key benefit is the location in Chaweng, surrounded by bars and restaurant, with direct access to a long stretch of beach Breakfast is great including an egg and crepes station. I liked the fact that fruits, vegetables and cold cuts are displayed in a closed part of the breakfast area and covered so no issue with flies Rooms are comfortable Walk to the beach side is very comfortable through well maintained gardens and ponds Only 'downside ' was the limited number of sunbeds by the pool and the sunbeds with a metal frame so not too comfortable with the heat. I provided my feedback directly to the team and it was well received. For our next trip to Koh Samui we will definitely consider staying at Dara Samui"

"I didn’t have a great experience here. I showed the staff my Thai gluten free card, but they didn’t speak Thai so it didn’t help. I ended up not eating because they didn’t understand what I was asking for in English. My boyfriend got a great gluten filled meal though while I had a smoothie."

"Among the current circumstances, this hotel refused to repay or book at a later time, while there is a travel ban. I'm ready to change dates too. but no, they don't know any cancellation. they don't want us to go. it is not under our control. I tried to minimize our losses. not even re-booking. so, others travel, they are aware. everything could happen to you or to all the world, and they won't care."

"Beautiful hostel, personal is super beautiful! I had a really bad cough about the ac and they made everything possible for me. I could drink tea/hot water as much as I needed, gave me some pills to cough, I could even spend the night outside the room so I don't have to sleep in the ac. really nice people and the hostel itself was very clean and had a great location too!"
