"The Antico Casale d'Adriano is an excellent choice for an Italian lunch or dinner in the center of Echterdingen. The restaurant is located in a historic building in the recently refurbished town center, and can be easily reached via public transportation (bus stop nearby) or by car (ample parking nearby) - and of course also by foot or by bike. The historic timber framed building housing the Antico Casale d'Adriano does contribute strongly to the nice ambience of the restaurant - and so does the modern and tasteful interior: the whole place looks and feels very cozy and inviting with a distinctly modern touch. In the warmer months of the year, one can also use the alfresco lunch and dining area in front of the restaurant - a great place for people spotting right in the heart of Echterdingen. The menu is distinctly Italian with a wide variety of starters, mains (meat, fish and vegetarian dishes), home made pasta dishes and desserts on offer. The daily specials are also very much recommended, and the wine and beverage list is excellent. The Antico Casale d'Adriano is owner operated, and the atmosphere therefore is very personal and friendly, and we found the prices to be fair - especially when choosing the lunch specials. We have visited this beautiful Italian restaurant many times over the last years, and have always been impressed by the high quality of ingredients used, the freshness and great taste of the dishes presented to guests and the friendly service offered by the staff and owner. I do recommend the Antico Casale d'Adriano for lunch and dinner, and for me, this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have visited. Can't wait to go back, and enjoy their great food - especially the fresh pasta dishes and heavenly tomato based sauces. Bellissimo!"

"Ich war hier an einem heißen August-Abend. Hatte vor nach einem Tag intensiver Arbeit eine leckere Pizza und ein Bier auf der beworbenen Terrasse zu genießen und mich dabei zu entspannen.Ich hatte keine Reservierung und die Terrasse war ziemlich voll aber einige Tische waren noch frei und nicht offensichtlich reserviert. Trotzdem wurde mir nur einen Platz drinnen angeboten. Vermutlich weil ich alleine war...naja.Alle Pizzen haben standardmäßig Edamer statt Mozzarella drauf, was Käse ist :DWill man Mozzarella haben, muss man 1,50€ Aufpreis bezahlen und die Grundpreise sind an sich nicht billiger als woanders.Die Pizza war insgesamt einfach sehr enttäuschend. Schade, einen Holzofen kann sich nicht jeder leisten. Der wäre in anderen Händen besser aufgehoben.Dazu war die Bedienung unaufmerksam bis leicht frech...also es muss wirklich nicht sein."

"Give it 5 especially until the service! both nights when I stayed in stuttgart and it was not disappointed! it is a pub/bar layout, but I have mainly examined this option after reading reviews on google and the price! my summary was: pizza funghi -6.50 rigatoni al horno but tomatensauce only - 7.50"
