"TL;DR( Good price( Pad Thai is really simpleI came here to grab pad Thai to go! The pad thai is very simple, it's just noodles, peanuts, bean sprouts and some protein. I got fried tofu and it was only $11! I was really surprised by how cheap it was and the portion size is pretty good. I like it when the sauce really seeps into the tofu but it didn't. The pad Thai was also a little drier than what I prefer"

"This is a wonderful local Thai restaurant that my family has been visiting for over 20 years. The food here is exceptional and well priced. The staff is attentive and friendly, and balance a busy kitchen well with kind caring service. It is absolutely the best Thai food in the area and I recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious bite to eat eat for lunch or dinner. The dishes served here are extremely flavorful, and are not overpowering in heat though you can order nearly everything more or less spicy. I highly recommend Sala Thai as the best Thai food in town. Every other Thai restaurant that I've been to throughout San Diego and across the country falls short."

"Fantastic Thai food. I have tried Spicy Thai rice, Spicy Thai noodles, appetizers, Thai coffee and tea. All were delicious. I had Honey toast for the first time there and it was a great tasting dessert. The restaurant has a really clean stylish look. The staff are great."
