"We have eaten at the Bellpeper several times for different birthdays and so far we have always been very satisfied. This time we were at the Bellpeper for the wedding anniversary and were able to sit on the very beautiful Rhine terrace for the first time. Unfortunately there were some things that we didn't like at all. For one, we had chosen a bottle of wine that was listed as Großer Gewächs (GG) on the wine list. The wine wasn't bad, but not GG. Asked the service about it, we were put off with the fact that the sommelier was not in the house and this would be clarified immediately. To this day, the Korell wine is still on the wine list as a GG. The second point was that at the later hour, thank God we had finished eating, suddenly a rat ran across the terrace several times, which was the absolute no-go for us and a reason to leave the restaurant. Asked the staff about it, apparently the problem is known. Well, then we wonder why this problem has not yet been fixed; after all, we're talking about a fine kitchen here. In any case, it is clear to us that if we should go out to eat at the Bellpeper again, it will obviously not be on the beautiful Rhine terrace. We would certainly look forward to a reaction"

"The carving was super tasty and delicate. The mushroom cream sauce was prepared with fresh mushrooms and not from the bag. For this we had ordered a small salad which is quite sufficient for two people and was prepared with a delicious salad sauce. The service personnel were also very accommodating. All in all, the visit was worth it! We'll be back."
