"Food truck Sushi so fun! Very fresh and authentic hand rolls. Not a huge selection of fish, but that seems reasonable considering that it is a food tuck. Plenty of outdoor shaded seating. Got a sushi bowl, 3 hand rolls, 2 seltzer waters and a miso soup for $70ish including tip."

"What a special place near Paia and/or on the way to the road to Hana. You need a reservation here, although it wasn't a house when we stopped on Friday. The hotel is located in a reused general business, this place is full of charm. Make sure to see a back space filled with art from local artists. Always love a place that supports the local art community. Our server Betty was the best in class. She was knowledgeable, passionate and infectious. If you are happy enough to be served by her, you are in good hands! Chef Beverly Gannon deserves all the awards you will see on the walls because their creations are delicious. The menu has some of their dishes they say that you find nowhere else, but we did not try to give you a review. Ask what they are if they tickle your imagination. We had the crab pizza (discovered and delicious), the Paniolo BBQ ribs (wonderful) and the Chopped Chinese Chicken Salad (refreshing and crisp). We really enjoyed everything. We hope to be back to Maui during our next trip."

"The salad was good but the bone in pork chop special and the seafood pasta were both lackluster. The strawberry daiquiri was just ordinary and at $12 I expected a lot more. This is not the steakhouse quality we recall from previous visits. Not sure what happened but our favorite part of the meal the salad bar is also gone as of two months ago. Overall, a disappointing dining experience at a place we used to love. This is off our list of Maui restaurant visits."

"Our group had such a great outing here on our first time to Maui. We took the tour and Sarah was an incredible guide! She was knowledgeable, witty, and helped us realize we like some spirits we didn’t expect to like ahead of time. The spirits themselves were divine. We will be looking for the Ocean Vodka in Texas, and requesting that our local stores stock Kalu Rum as well!"
