"Epping Seafood was one of the few places open on New Year's Day. We dined here with no expectations but left completely blown away.The burgers are amazing and a bargain at around $8. Seriously the burgers were right up there in the best burgers we have had in town and at least half the price.The burgers were similar smile to Paul's Famous Burgers in the Shire and worth so much more than we paid. The milkshake was old school style with ice cream and excellent value at $3.The owners served us and were very friendly and the service was fast.If you are in the area I definitely recommend Epping Seafood for the burgers (next time I will try the seafood)."

"We heard that King's Seafood Restaurant in Eastwood is a popular one in Eastwood and we are interested in trying their Yum Cha selection. You will often find many people queueing up outside, so be there earlier if you don't want to wait. Their service is quick and easy, you just have to wait for them to come to your table and just choose anything you want from the cart! At first, we chose their Pork Siu Mai, Prawn Dumpling (Har Gow), Taro Dumpling (Wu Gok), Braised Chicken Feet, Steamed Rice Paper Roll (Cheung Fun) with Prawn and their Steamed Meatball.."

"The owner was really a wonderful host. Probably the highlight of the place. The food was actually kind of mediocre, okay at best- not saying it was not yummy. It certainly was! But the price to portion to value ratio was off... Very pricey and quite small portions. We were aiming to have the seafood platter to share, however it sounded like it had deep fried items on there (I would not associate a high class establishment to serve deep fried food) and was mainly oysters prepared various ways... So not terribly varied. The service and singer were okay, a little abrupt. Lastly, the chocolate pudding tasted like a cheap packet cake. I'd be very surprised if that was home made.Overall it was a nice experience but left very out of pocket and a little hungry."

"Food is from average to above average depending on what you order. What I like this restaurant is it's table and utensil one of the more neat and clean despite the decor is dated. Service was fast and no nonsense.The best value is the lunch set offer with a drink included.A good option in Eastwood area."
