"The food was good and served quickly. We were juste really disappointed with the pani puri (mashed potatoes with barely any spice or filling) the service is friendly. The appreciated how the place was clean. We recommend!"

"We stopped here with my mother-in-law by accident. It was passed launch time and we were hungry. There was a parking spot available on Jean-Talon street, so we stopped and start browsing around. Noticed a small restaurant in the corner offering types of cuisine....The menu was not small, so we were sure will find something. We did choose a spicy (really hot) soup, a beef kebab sandwich and vegetables. Everything was of excellent taste and quality, but we didn't have enough stomach space for all that food, so took the kebab home in a doggy bag Before you go there, please keep in mind that this is a Halal (type of food) restaurant and there is no alcohol served or bring in. The tea and rice pudding was perfect. All that food cost us"

"My go to place for indian food in the downtown area. Not the fanciest of restaurants but the food is AMAZING!! Very good service too! Staff is nice and welcoming. I brought one of my friend once and he had to go for a second time the same week. I just wish they would open later too."

"This is an Indian restaurant on St-Denis. Humble decor, and unenthusiastic waiter.We ordered a chicken Korma, chicken Tandoori, a Dahl soup, and a nan bread.The soup was tasteless, clearly very little lentil was used to make it. Not spiced properly too.The chicken Korma was way too sweet! Not fun to eat.The Tandoori was probably the only acceptable dish, although no spices were used and the red colour was all artific colorings and not spicy sauce mix.The nan bread was too thick, it looked more like a pita bread than a nan! And he charged is 2.5$ for it plus tax.Overall, I think this was one of the most disappointing Indian meals I have had in a while.NOT recommended, look elsewhere."

"No reviews yet? Half of their menu is vegan, marked with elements. I had the vegan Thali with Daal, Chana, Bhiryani rice and Naan bread, plus the Samosas. Everything was delicious, but the Chana was THE BEST. The Samosas are huge, so they command to share them. Updated by previous review on 2022-11-14"

"I totally LOVE this place! Been a regular costumer since 2009. The food is awesome and the prices are ridiculous! The ambiance is really tacky and the restaurant itself doesn't look that great, but who cares... it's so good! I tried a couple of indian places around the area and this is by far the best one. And for info, it's a bring your own wine. I always recommend this spot for indian food. With friends, familly or couples."

"This resto is less than a minute walk from our favourite B B (see review of Heritage Victorien on Ontario Street), located on St-Denis and Ontario Street East. We typically order one meal from it and often enough to bring back home with us....The interior is nothing special and since our B B has a full kitchen, we always order a take away. We have sampled many Indian restos during our trips and this has become our favourite. Our usual order comprises Tandoori chicken, chicken dhansak, raita, maybe a dahl, and often onion bhaji. We have tried many other items on their extensive menu without disappointment. Food is always ready under minutes, service is friendly, value excellent."
