"This pop up was wonderful and such a unique experience. To speak with the chef, Dom, and to have insights into the menu was a real treat. The daily-changing menu was carefully curated and the food was fresh and locally produced. My dietary requirements were talked through and so the meal was as bespoke as possible to cater for my needs which was a really unique and fantastic experience. My favourite dish was the soup, but my husbands was the fish. Wait staff were great. The menu was reasonably priced with 4 courses and bread/butter for £43 pp. Would recommend and return."

"Lovely food at the strawberry tree last night. It has a nice balance of being laid back without being slow. Enjoyed a Local beer with my meal too. Booking ahead is recommended! Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options Parking: Park in the larger car parks on the edge of the centre and walk 5 mins down the hill! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"After visting the Strawberry Tree on a couple of occasions whilst on holiday, we decided to do one of their cookery classes on Sunday. All i can say is wow...from the greeting on arrival to the warm good bye several hours later, Ed, Giselle and the team made us feel very special and welcome. Learning the secrets to cooking some excellent tapas from Giselle and the background of the food from Ed was worth the 4 hour drive home!! Thanks again to you both and see you again in June when we are next in Lyme."

"Wonderful location on the seaton beach with panoramic views of the sea, best viewed from the recommended restaurant booking. we ate here twice in our weeks. separate vegan menu top and personal on what is and is not vegan. cauliflower starter delicious. really enjoyed skewer and cocosnuß pannacotta (without gelatine) also. burger was okay. in the ground floor pizza is not sure whether they have vegan options there. I couldn't see any vegan dishes in the cafe cup."

"We ate here as stayed in accommodation close by, and had a very enjoyable meal. The pork dish was excellent, succulent meat, and the burger and chips/salad was also very tasty. Children are well-catered for with homemade mac n cheese, and some very tasty homemade chicken goujons. Our kids were quite content. We ate in the bar/grill side of the restaurant, just in case the kids got a bit noisy, there's a lovely view out of the window there across the hills. Good service."

"Unbelievable. Clean wooden floors and tables, cozy atmosphere. Very helpful staff. The menu includes fresh, local veg with different twists: Middle Eastern Indian and Italian. Wonderful Tagine! And the Guinness cake and coconut and mango cake are enough to ruin the diet. And to finish excellent coffee (including Decaf). That was reasonable. Only the trick after a cold and windy fossil hunting trip to the beach in December, with outdoor seats for the summer are held!"
