"After reading all the reviews I was excited to try the bbg at bowlegged.I'm a fan of brisket and a good hotlink so I decided to try their signature bowlegged sandwich with both a hotlink and brisket.The sandwich was served with pickle slices and no extra sauce. I asked if they had more than one sauce as I like to try the variety a place might offer, only one sauce here so I asked for some extra.The bread was delicious, the hotlink was pretty much what I expected but the brisketon my sandwich was chopped with very fatty chunks and really had no depth of flavor. The sauce also did not have a depth of flavor and seemed more like an oily dressing.The vibe here was wonderful and the staff friendly. It may be a style I'm not familiar with or into because everyone else seems to love the food here."

"They're food is straight NASTY and I don't mean that in a good way. Pulled pork was dry, so called peach cobbler is no cobbler, Potatoe Salad-Nasty eew. RIBS IS HORRIBLE. I WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN. IF I WANT REAL BBQ I'M STICKING WITH BOWLEGG BBQ THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT ?"

"I had to leave a review because I am in love with this hawaiian bbq literally the best one in San Diego no doubt!! Every time I get food from here it is hot, fresh, flavor phenomenal!! No wonder they stay busy because it is consistent, great quality! Thank you staff at this L L location for your hard work and amazing, consistent quality! I am sincerely grateful for the good grub! You guys rock!!"
