"Great food and customer service. We are from Philadelphia and wants to try kuttanad restaurant on our trip to NY. We ordered porotta, chicken chettinad, kappa biriyani and chicken biriyani. Everything taste good, but porotta is a must try, because it's very soft and really big in size than an average porotta. I think chicken chettinad needs little more salt( may be my personal preference). Overall very nice experience and tasty food with decent quatity and quality."

"Five Star features Keralan Cuisine. Five Star Indian Cuisine has a menu that is pan Indian. However, the best dishes are prepared in the Keralan way, with the typical products and spices for Kerala, a South Indian state. Five stars makes a great playback of Chicken Tikka Masala for the less adventurous and those who use a standard on the first attempt. It is not a plate that is Keralan, mostly credited as a Punjabi creation. My brother had the Goat Roast on the menu. Tasted and roasted in red onions, the goat's meat is not completely free from the bone when consumed. Therefore, the texture was not melted in the mouth, but was tender enough to chew easily without hindrance. I would be rejected not to mention that, although it is not listed on the menu, pig is available. Kerala is a state that has a significant Christian influence over centuries, in particular on the Syrian Rite, and a considerable Christian population. Kerala is one of several southern states with Christian connections that uses pork in the kitchen. Although, my brother and I had no place for dessert, the Gulab Jamun was mentioned favorably by respected food bloggers who dared Five Star. Mango Lassi accompanied our meals as a drink of choice."

"The food was DISGUSTING! Being an Indian and eating home cooked desi food my whole life, I know what a dish is supposed to taste like. Their daal makhani tasted like it was made with tomato paste, so nasty! Their paneer makhani was like watery makhani with 10 pieces of paneer thrown in it. Neither dishes actually had a tadkha (cooked with onions and peppers and proper desi spices). I can 't believe this store is still open. Their breads are made me SO MUCH dough. I highly suggest not to waste your money. I spent close to $100 for this and would hate for anyone else to find out the hard way!!!!"

"Don't think they were serving anybody there.Only their own family people there. Anyway ordered a food[mutton biryani] Reached home. Not only it had any real smell of that food.I could smell a rotten smell. My spouse ate some. Said ok .I don't know I didn't eat."

"Chicken tikka masala paneer saag were too spicy for me..roti seemed a bit stale. Drop down should be added to ask for spice level preference. Not much paneer in thst dish. Hoping to eat left overs but wont. A lot of spent for just one meal. I tried."
