"Great local unpretentious omakase. Solid value. They keep it simple and traditional. Lovely owners, seasonal menus with nice fresh fish from Tokyo. Enjoy coming here several times a year. Chef always has a surprise to delight and is willing to teach which I appreciate. Jean is a great host."

"Why do I feel like I got bamboozled? IG had me fooled to think this place was going to be a great time and a great party brunch from the time we walked in we felt like number. They def have a system to get you in and out within 90minutes we were seated on the 2nd floor by the bar away from the other tables we asked to change our seats and landed at the covered rooftop which was really pretty but closed off to the restaurant however we could still hear the DJ we ordered hookah $35 cash only) we're handed our menus then the server stood over us asking for our orders we advised her we just sat down and need time to review the menu, we also asked for drinks and she said no drinks allowed until we order no kidding she was back in 3 minutes 3 of us ordered the shrimp/lobster pasta 1of us ordered steak/eggs the food was delish. The service horrible we had to keep asking for more mimosas and rum punch and the waitress acted like it was an inconvenience at exactly an hour after arriving she placed the check down we asked her about the special receiving a bottle of champagne per 4 guest she said let me check then came back to the table with the bottle in a to go bag she did bring over the HBD sign and sparklers for the birthday person then asked us to pay the bill we advised her the hookah wasn't finished and we weren't leaving until it's done she said to bad it needed to be finished within 90minutes so at this point we told Wendy not to return to our table and we weren't leaving until we were finished she started arguing with us another gentleman walked over and asked what's going on we explained and he told us not to worry take as long as we need and mind you we were the only ones on the covered rooftop like I could see if they needed the space. I go to a lot of brunches and have never been treated like this def won't be back Shout out to Sagee the waiter who stepped in to calm the situation."
