"We ate as a family of two adults and two children. First of all, it is ideally located because it is just below our hotel! The place is simple and efficient. The order is quickly placed and quickly served. I often have salads at the restaurant but there I was very pleasantly surprised by the quantity, the quality and the presentation, in short, faultless for our two salads, the Caesar and the peasant The two children's menus are simple and effective given the competitive prices. "We stopped at LesTourelles after seeing the sign by the road, having failed to spot any decent looking lunch spots in a nearby town. We were delighted to find a gem of a restaurant which provided one of the best meals of our stay in France. We seemed to be the only tourists there when we visited and the menu is entirely in French, so take your dictionary with you if your French is a bit rusty, like ours! I had a delicious duck leg confit and my husband had veal in a Roquefort sauce, followed by cheesecake and washed down with a glass of wine. We ate in the garden, under the trees, which was peaceful and very pretty. This is proper French cooking using quality ingredients, not mass produced fast food worth a detour if you are in the area. It isn't far from the Pont du Gard, heading for Montelimar."
