"Had a booking for a group of 9, we were seated comfortable at the back and had lots of space as we had a stroller. The service was quick and the food was lovely. The mushroom ravioli is always a favourite along with the items on the special menu; this time mussels."

"Family meal for my dads 80th birthday. The food was delicious and the service was superb the staff couldn’t have been nicer to my dad, and were generally attentive efficient. We all really enjoyed our meals, and the price wasn’t bad either. Would very much recommend"

"I have been to Cheese Rooms at least 6 times in the last 4 months and each time i have had a great experience. However my most recent visit was ruined by a very rude waitress serving in the garden on Saturday afternoon. She was fine when taking our drinks order, not as polite as all the other staff, but ok. However, when taking our food order she was incredible rude as I asked for a slight adjustment to the meal. My request was not hard to do at all, I just asked for something to be taken out and served on the side but she questioned me as to why I wanted that. Which I did not feel she had a right to do. When bringing out the cutlery she threw it onto our table as she walked past. At first a different server brought us out the wrong food and it was obvious she was unhappy we sent it back. It was such a shame as I’ve had so many lovely experiences in there, but it really ruined my visit. All the other staff were lovely and the food was good. Becuase of the service, we ended up instead going for cocktails next door at Jägers where the service was much better and cocktails were much cheaper."

"Food was good that I had, but no choice for gluten-free dessert. Had a member of our family on crutches and no disabled toilet. Couldn't get up the steep stairs to the normal toilets. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free Starters, mains chicken meal had to have rice or jacket potato as chips not suitable, and there was nothing witch my daughter and I could have. Wheelchair accessibility: Could get a wheelchair in, but it would be a squeeze and no disabled toilet. Would not be able to access toilet up the steep stairs on the top floor."
