"Wow. Amazing coffee and ambience on Higuera St Downtown San Louis Obispo. Coffee drinks are delicious as pastries and breads. Did not participate in other foods. The atmosphere was very beneficial for relaxation and entertainment. In any case, you are looking forward to a return trip if possible."

"Kin is my little taste of LA away from LA. They offer unique drinks with adaptogens and superfoods in addition to your classic espresso or cappuccino. Love this small coffee shop’s vibe, from its dark aesthetic to the plants that fill the entire place to the native plant art adorning the walls. I’ve tried 2 drinks here so far: The Mama Quilla, a signature matcha drink with guava juice. Delicious and refreshing. I love that almond milk is default unless specified. They also offer coconut and oat milk. The Butterfly Pea Latte. This tea is made with: -ginger -cinnamon -ashwaganda -maca -nutmeg -clove -astragalus root -milk of your choice -and ofc butterfly pea flower (which gives it that vibrant color) It tastes very strongly of nutmeg; make sure you like the flavors of the ingredients before you order it for the gram. If you order it to go, definitely take the lid off so you can enjoy its main appeal—the beautiful blue-purple. I’m a big proponent of using the earth and food to heal, and ashwaganda is said to be an adaptogen, bringing balance and easing anxiety. I like that Kin offers superfoods ingredients and matcha, not just coffee. That said, I do need to actually try to coffee next time!"

"Really clean place. Loved the 'common area' with games and huge chessboard. The drink I ordered was a little weak to be honest. Shots appeared on par, but the craftsmanship needed some work. Iced Mocha."

"A very cute coffee shop where a lot of locals come and hang out. It has a lot of comfortable seating areas including outdoor ones and meeting rooms. In fact, I think the Central coast vegans occasionally meet here if you want to check them out. The food is good but not always entirely vegan but accommodations can be made."

"The thermostat seems to be stuck at the oddly low temperature of a back-kitchen freezer, but other than that, coffee enthusiasts from all cups of life can appreciate the diversity in their selections. Aside the minimal effort in serving anything other than coffee, this is a great place for socializing and enjoying some good brew"
