"Decided to try the French toast as it seemed to be a popular dish! The orange jam in the middle was unique and a beautiful touch. It was sweet and sour in a good way! The spicy Cajun sausage Omelette was also pretty good! The hash brown must be eaten hot! One gets cold.. It's not good. It's a nice place to go! There are indoor and outdoor seats and you can also bring your dogs! The staff were nice, but they're busy. It took a while to get someone."

"Birthday lunch for a friend. Great food. It was a little chilly inside. We asked to have the heaters in and the waitress said management said no for the heater over the bar area. My birthday girl asked to speak with the manager but he never showed."

"This has to be at the top on anyone’s list for eating out in Santa Cruz. I have celiac they have wonderful yummy options INCLUDING a delcious mini loaf of GF bread All interactions w staff were pleasant, helpful if we needed Presentation of food was beautiful… tastes were (as I’ve said) delicious. There were 3of us and we all agreed, there will be other meals eaten at Chocolate the Restaurant."
