"Today I had lunch with a friend at Hokkaido. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is super spacious, and you didn't feel cramped like some sushi restaurants out there. The interior decor was also super charming. The hostess was super warm and friendly. It wasn't super busy, but they made such a fuss over us. I have never had a better Vegas roll I think in my life. My friend mentioned to same thing to me. I would definitely recommend this place. The pricing was super reasonable and the sushi was presented so pretty-some plates with images drawn on them. Will definitely go back there soon!"

"I was super disappointed in this place. Granted takeout sushi doesn't ever to seem to be as good as eating on site. It was all warm and waaayy over sauced. I don't feel you need to lather sushi up. Could they be masking something? Positive note. The portion size was big for rolls. You get moneys worth compared to others. Also after sticking leftovers in fridge and eating next day it actually got better."

"Lunch special comes with a good amount of food. Picked up our order. Online price isn’t actually the price (it’s more when you pay in person). Got the tempura shrimp. Delicious, but the salad that came w it is just the type that comes from the bags"

I choose the 30.00 kombi, which was a selection of 15 pieces gourmet cook selections and the spicy thunfish roll. there was a seperate sashimi/nigri combo section. now they correct me when I'm wrong, but the interpretation of the menu I understood was sashimi my opinion after not gourmet. they get kudos for presentation and service, but I was served sashimi over rice, as the 15 pieces did not choose gourmet rolls like the menu said. my recommendation is a seperate combo option that is speculated to sashimi via rice as a gourmet option. not only was I upset, but also hungry. also I feel like paying for this combo as it is...read more"
