"Stopped by this quaint town called Templeton and saw AJ Spurs Steakhouse. So glad we did!!! The food was wonderful and such large portions were served. Soup potatoes to start, and a very sizable menu. We all found a dish that suited our taste…the kids loved the decor and also were very excited at choosing a toy from the safe. My little one even got to ring the bell…The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful, as well. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a full belly! Thanks, AJ’s – we’ll be back"

"Nice little burger place on Main St in Templeton. Order up front then sit up at a bar seat and eat, or go out back and eat at the super clean picnic tables (3). They also have an indoor Shack eating area. It 's dog friendly if you want to bring your pooch. We ordered the OBGF melt and a double cheeseburger, and an order of onion rings. Burger and Patty melt were fresh and tasty, the meat grass fed, which we like. The single patty melt was a little on the skimpy side, but still had a 1/4 pound patty. The double cheeseburger was big enough, with shredded lettuce, onions, pickles and tomato, on a brioche bun. The onion rings were also a little skimpy with just 6 being a full order. Overall we got out of there for just under $30 which is reasonable, considering the quality beef and ingredients. Still, it doesn 't quite bowl you over. We 'll probably be back, but on a whim, and not planned."

"Nice addition of new servers. Lots of smiles and very sociable. Felt nice to be there saw a few old friends there which makes for fun conversation as well. Drunken mushrooms are great and pizzas top notch, as usual. It was happy hours, so that's always nice."

"I ordered the kafta plate on a bed of salad, w tomatoes red onions, hummus tazatziki. I was going to eat there, but unfortunately the restaurant was very cluttered and needs a DEEP cleaning. They forgot the dressing for the salad put the hot meat on top, so it was dry soggy. Tazatziki had little flavor, hummus was good not great, meat had flavor but was really dry chewy, pita was stale. I was very disappointed. With a few tweaks extra attention to detail it could be awesome. Won't be back. Baklava was good."
