"Despite supply chain issues endemic to most business due to the Covid19 pandemic, which caused the diner to be without decaf coffee, the meals were generously portioned, well crafted, served hot, and quite tasty! Service was very customer centered and the staff were careful to both explain the delay, offer complimentary beverages, and follow up service with 2 inquiries prior to presenting the check. We heartily recommend the pancakes and will return soon!"

"5/5 stars for this unassuming restaurant in a strip mall on Rt22. You might miss it if you drive too fast. I rarely give 5 stars but this place absolutely deserves it. I headed there on a Sunday for a Jazz Brunch featuring Bobby Wise. The food was served as small plates and there wasn't a bite of food that we didn't love! How is that possible? I watched people's responses to their first bites and could tell they were enjoying it just as much. We were served chicken and waffles, home fries, breakfast quesadilla, Haitian Jon Jon rice, salad, sausage and Im sure I'm forgetting some things. I mean everything was legit. My favorite serving was the grits and not everyone can cook grits so I was pretty happy that they nailed it. The owner Darius came out and introduced himself and was friendly and pleasant. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Just an all around good experience here. We ended the meal with a small serving of smoothie that was also perfect. This place is the real deal. If it wasn't so far(an hour) I'd come back to try the other things. Please go!! Especially if they are having a jazz brunch. Quiet enjoyable!! Absolutely 5/5"
