"I have been visiting this restaurant whenever I find myself in DC over the past few years, and I must say that I am consistently impressed by the high quality of the food. The portions are generous and the prices are quite reasonable, especially when compared to other restaurants in the area. The flavors are always spot-on, and the service is top-notch. I look forward to many more visits in the future!Vegetarian options: At the restaurant, there are a variety of delicious vegetarian options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the savory pide with flavorful mushrooms and eggplant."

"Well... I guess I can't say one way or another... we were met at the door by an order to put masks on then told that they are only a retail shop for their spirits. Couldn't taste anything to decide. Definitely NOT a craft cocktail bar!!!!"

"We traveled from Houston and were so excited to visit this establishment from the online menu. When we arrived, we were told that the menu available was different than the one shown online, so a lot of the items that we were excited to try were not available. I ordered the daiquiri and was not impressed, my cocktail was extremely watered down and was such a small portion. You can tell that no creativity or love went into the making of this cocktail. Items that we ordered for our meal took so long to come out and when they finally did, it was incomplete, we had to wait an additional 15 to 20 more minutes for other members of our party’s food to come out. Our server was nice, but extremely overwhelmed with what he had been given to take care of. The attentiveness of the staff was lacking as well as the communication. We sat with dirty dishes on our table for over half an hour. My mother order the jerk chicken, which did not contain ANY JERK FLAVORING, it was extremely bland and the only highlight of that dish, what is the saffron rice… I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, and I am so disappointed at what I have experience at establishment. Please DO BETTER. Your customers deserve a spectacular experience, and was delivered nothing short of sub par."

"Located on historic U Street and a popular after club spot. They just opened a Ben's Lounge directly next door if you are more interested in a sit down, intimate, and sophisticated feel. Pros: open later than anything else (til 4am I think); lots of pics of celebs who visited; still feels like a down home spot despite its popularity; good food Cons: almost always crowded no matter what day or time."

"My husband and I spent a week in DC and came across this restaurant. We went back seven times and we only had three days left by the time that we had found this wonderful place. The hotdogs were very flavorful, cooked perfectly and the sauce was the best I have ever tasted. If you want a good dog do not miss Frank Stein."
