"Excellent authentic Mexican food. The art and decor was beautiful. Including what seemed to be hand-painted pictures on the back of the chairs. I enjoyed my Steak-Fajitas. The steak was well seasoned with meat, onions and peppers. The fried beans and rice were delicious. My tomato mixture had cilantro/parsley in it, I was not told. (Incapable to say safely what, cut too small. I think the server just doesn't know. It wasn't a big deal, I didn't eat the tomato mix at all. My husband has the Monsterquesadilla. He thought it was very good. My mother-in-law was very sharp. The Queen was fantastic, cheeky kindness! We really enjoyed each other."

"We stopped in Virginia on the way home from NC. We found this place inadvertently near our hotel room. Let me just say that the employees are very hospitable and attentive. The young man who served us came to me and asked if I needed something because I always looked around.... I admired the facility. The food was amazing!!! I had the rice with pork chops, they lubricated like Chicharon. The nachos and beans/cheese you give free were fresh and delicious. Let's not forget to mention Margarita. They're not shy with the alcohol. Everything was made perfect and delivered to your table HOT. Very recommended."

"Ambiance: (5/5) There is plenty of seating and it is very clean. Price: (5/5) The portions are huge especially with the lower prices. Food: (5/5) It's hard to find good Mexican food in Virginia I feel. I really enjoyed this place. The salsa and other dip were amazing. I got the lunch special (beef fajitas). They came with really flavor rice and beans as sides. The beef was spiced perfectly and it even reheated every well. I want to come back when I'm in the area and try other dishes. My friend got the chile verde and she really enjoyed it as well/ that reheated well too. Service: (5/5) Food come out quick and the staff is so nice. In conclusion, can't wait to try more!"

"By far the best Mexican dining experience in Williamsburg!! I have made it a point, on my many travels here, to try all of the local Mexican restaurants and La Terraza is hands down superior in ever way. From the engaging and friendly staff, down to the affordable and always superb menu options. I was overwhelmed at the amount of delicious items they offer! The fajitas were seasoned to perfection and served sizzling! The Pina Colada was creamy and delicious! The queso was rich and perfectly cheesy! I would give this place so many more than 5 stars if possible!! Couldn't ask for a better experience!!"

"One of my best times in Virginia was at El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant. The food was remarkable and the customer service makes you want to stay even though you are ready to eat. "Who knew they had pickled onions and jalapenos?! I definitely didn't and I was pumped! The bowl was about 9 bucks but it was fresh and filling. I got just veggies but maybe the guac was extra? So it's a lil more expensive than chipotle but I was impressed and I'd definitely go back."
