"I've been to Bottles a handful of times now and at this point I may be hard pressed to return.The atmosphere is sooo promising but the service is SEVERELY lacking. The bartender with the butterfly neck tattoo is terrible. I went up there after work one night and the place was empty, tried making conversation with her, since I was sitting at the bar and she couldn't be bothered to actually talk, she was engulfed in her phone.My husband and I went up there on Friday 2.10 (weeks later), place was empty, just us, and she was bartending, my husband tried to have polite conversation with her and she completely ignored him, busy with her phone. We were finishing up our drinks and wanted another, she went outside, not acknowledging our drinks were empty, when she returned, she returned to her phone, my husband asked if we could close out, she didn't acknowledge him, just said yeah, then when she realized what he actually asked said yeah again.We would have gotten anther drink had we had half decent service. I love wine Bottles is right up my alley for an after work stop, at this rate though I will not be giving terrible service anymore time."

"By far my favorite bar in downtown Wilmington. Great hippie vibes with beautiful art, jewelry, even clothes. It’s always changing and always awesome. The bartenders are always cool and of course the owner is a goddess if you don’t want to hangout inside the patio area is chill and always a good time as well! So glad it’s open. Its worth a visit or 2 or 3."

"Had a great chocolate and wine pairing. As I understood, call ahead to be sure that they have some of their hand-made chocolate available as they sell. Do not try to come to beer, because their choice does not aim to be beer people. Wine and chocolate should live. I hear they have to press fresh orange juice for mimoses to try them!"

"Atmosphere was decent and bar tender was ok. The cashier and cook had attitudes from ordering to getting the food. The bar tender pointed to the window where to order the food and when we approached the window the cook was unfriendly and said to “order there” and pointed. So we went through the door he pointed to and the cashier was not friendly either and seemed annoyed. We were told by the cashier they would bring our food to us so we let them know where we were sitting. They called the order number on a megaphone which we weren’t told about and between the music, loud noises and people talking we didn’t hear it. When I approached the window to see if he called our order after realizing they were using a megaphone to do so, the cashier rolled her eyes and gave me the order. We had a second order and she said “I don’t know ask the cook” so I did and he said “yea we did” with a hard attitude and set the tray out. Needless to say .. never again. The food was overpriced for the portion size and the staff were uncomfortable to deal with. Also, if you’re gluten free don’t bother, they become annoyed when you ask questions about dietary restrictions."

"Burgers were big and tasty, oyster appetizers was really good. Shrimp platter was really filling and tasty. Place is really small. Salad with chicken was disappointing. Cheese was a cut up cheese slice and the tomatoes were old and souring. Service was fast and friendly."
