"Went to British Beer Company for dinner before a show. Restaurant was very loud, but once we were seated in the booth it was a little better. Took forever for our waitress to come over to the table, and once she did, she was no help. Asked her a question about a beer and her response was âI have no idea.â Food was fine, had the steak tips and beef stew. Thought there good have been a few more steak tips on the plate, but they were tasty. Would go back again maybe on a Friday or Saturday night for drinks at the bar."

"Excellent. Big family lunch today. Carvery and dessert. Our own room overlooking the garden, so the children could let off steam outside. Service and food very very good. Only downside was lack of bar staff, and how slow they were once you got their attention. Overall, the whole family said they'd definitely go again"

"Came on Friday, 13. May with a table of 14 waiting for us as we had booked a working evening. Greetings on the door. Shows the table and asks if we want drinks quickly. We had the Wave menu. With an allergy of fish and a vegetarian in the group, we had a fantastic range within the starter, a main veggie wave, a main meat wave and dessert. Drinks were made and served quickly. The food was taken out in time and cleaned. There were many things I had never tried before, so was pleasantly surprised by the variations. It was like a tapas style, where there were plenty of small dishes that we could take and add to our plates. The food was very tasteful and the drinks (usually cocktails) were well made. I can't comment on the price-performance ratio as the work arranged it, but everything in all it was a good experience. Ultimately, the employees were very accommodating, happy to help and seemed to be in good spirit all night. I would recommend it. Ps I'm your 600. Rating!"

"Walked in and thought it was quite empty so We thought we would be served quickly. Fortunately, we received drinks almost immediately. We then ordered our mains which we got in under 30 minutes though there were no sauces for us. The food was very nice. We ordered pudding but it took almost 1 hour for it to come. Apart from that it was a very nice experience and would come here again."
