"Run by Madison Beer. It's inside Whole Foods, of course. Not to be confused with Whale Foods which are very fattening. I'm not a fan of Whole Foods, and I'm surprised that so many other people are considering how much the prices are marked up and I'm surprised that so many hipsters are into this store, considering how extreme right-wing they are, but Life Goes On. The free samples were definitely a good reason to come here but they're not nearly as good as they used to be. So of course they have a beer and wine bar inside which is similarly priced and very hipster. It's not bad, just overpriced."

"Richardson is a geographical oddity with a severe lack of liquor stores for a traveler to find. I JUST WANTED SOME MODERATELY PRICED RUM TO BRING BACK TO MY HOTEL ROOM, SUSAN. I had to settle for beer and/or wine at this place, a few miles down the road from my hotel since I couldn't find a liquor store selling something harder. Since my options were beer and/or wine I started at one end of the refrigerator units and worked my way toward the end looking for the highest ABV at the lowest price. It was the same methodology I used traveling through France a decade ago as a student which led to resounding success finding barleywine at well above 10% and less than 5 euros per can in Rouen, which conveniently was having race riots at the time to add a nice, je ne sais quoi, #aesthetic. Here at the beer wine shoppe in jolly old U S and A the best deal to be found was Unibroue's La Fin du Monde, which captured my preference for all things Frenchy or at least Québécois as a plan B. 9% at $10.99 for a 4 pack. I've paid far less for a 4 pack of this at stores in Houston, but considering it's a nice beer and my hotel bar was charging slightly less than $10 for little league ballpark-quality beer it made ALL the sense to do it. This store had a wide selection beyond my Quebecois tasty treats. A sixer of Victory's Golden Monkey was $12.99; a 4 pack of Ommegang's Three Philosopher's was $16.99 which seemed a bit inflated, but I was still mulling it over in that part of the store before I found my girl Unibroue a few refrigeration units down the line later. The guy behind the counter was pleasant. A food delivery guy that delivered food into the store (presumably for the guy) double-parked me so I was a little tiny-tantrum-brewing. Besides removing the clutter (boxes of beers) from the floor that make navigating the narrow aisles of the store a little difficult with more than one person in there looking at the refrigeration units to select beer, I would recommend the food service delivery guys get explicit instructions not to double-park patrons who just paid money and were trying to leave the tiny parking lot to go back to their hotel and drink their purchase. Conveniently located just outside the entrance to UT-Dallas for students and parents visiting their son/daughter at UT-Dallas."
