Rosedale Cottage - St Albans

What User likes about Rosedale Cottage:
Last minute decision to come to Rosedale cottage. Been here several times over the years as well as when it was Sous le Soleil. It has been massively improved. The food was really excellent in both presentation and taste. Mushroom tarte with truffled mash was really good as was the crab souffle. Steak and duck main courses were also really excellent. What User doesn't like about Rosedale Cottage:
The food at Rosedale is, on average, quite good. I had the wild mushroom tart followed by the chicken supreme with chicken tortellini. Plating and food were both quite good. The issue was the service. Due to the layout of the restaurant (many small rooms), we felt invisible and indeed it took ages to even get a menu.
