"Very enjoyable Sunday lunch. The Wiener Schnitzel was very good, so was the Wurstsalat. The Austrian Ravioli were good, maybe a bit too buttery (i.e. too rich), while the filling was slightly lacking flavour (alternatively, a bit more cheese could be added on top to enhance the flavours). The chef was very generous with the salmon on top of the salad. Overall, excellent. Portions are large, service is friendly, views from the garden are stunning. We'll definitely return. Oh...what we would love to see on the menu would be an Almdudler and an Austrian or Bavarian beer vom Fass. But sourcing them is probably difficult."

"Attentive service, lovely food, excellent wine an idyllic experience is on your doorstep Paarl seems like it might be a great trek. However we were pleasantly surprised to be rewarded with an idyllic escape after a 40 minute journey out of Cape Town. Service was superlative and the restaurant is a run attentively and unobtrusively. The menu was delightful with foraged items being used excellently, beautifully and tastily in a garden setting with a wonderful landscape to crown it all. Portions were generous and the wine is incredible."

"We had a wonderful time today. he welcomed us with such warm and friendly. our waitress was attentive and efficient. we decided on the menu of the day and had amazing biltong and portsuppe. after that we had a beautiful bowl full of polnta and lambs. and to complete it, I had the date pudding with a caramel sauce and the chef was so friendly to give my man cheesecake instead of date pudding that he did not care. we'll go back there."

"Have been there multiple times and will continue to go several times more! Our go to place when we want to do something nice for a day out. So many experiences in one area (beer tasting, chocolate tasting, craft ice cream, gin etc. Geeat pizza at reasonable prices and a great view! A cape Town MUST"

"I stop here after/during cycling training, lunch times with my better half and even just at random times with friends and family. We all love Knus! The coffee is good, the food is good, fantastic place inside and outside, what more could you need? "What a nice place! The view is absolutely beautiful but the food is AMAZING! it was a little chilly so the fireplace was so nice. We had their burgers and wow probably some of the best I've had! I think they can maybe offer a little bit more to drink for the ladies but otherwise great place and great service!"
