"I was staying in New Plymouth recently for a business trip, and decided to see what was around in terms of Indian restaurants. I checked online and Punjab Grill appeared with many great reviews so I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed! I ordered takeaway and the lady behind the counter was incredibly polite and patient (while I took forever to decide what dish to have), I chose to order the chicken tikka masala along with a garlic and cheese naan. The bread was a very generous size, with tons of flavour. The tikka masala was beautiful, rich with flavour and the meat/vegetable/gravy ratio was perfect. Would definitely go back again when I'm in town next. Thank you!"

"We discovered Funkfish in Dec 2013 and have been there nine times since. I love the huge wine glasses and the attentive service. Never have I been able to finish the meal, the portions are huge. I am not a seafood lover but I always have a great time. Family from other parts of NZ and from Australia love to visit us because we take them to this restaurant where they eat Mussels Three Ways and scallops and oysters and best of all, black tiger prawns. I haven't found a single thing to criticise."

"Had a voucher given to us by our family for dinner bed and breakfast. Had an amazing dinner with friends and loved our room and the fact that we could eat on our private deck but still be part of the restaurant atmosphere ! A hidden gem that I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back."
