"I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor when searching for somewhere to dine in the Mitcham/Nunawading area. It lived up to expectations with delicious food and very friendly service. We all agreed to dine here again."

"Kobe Teppanyaki situated in the office building shop 7 261 265 Blackburn Road, Doncaster East. You hardly miss this place cause it 's located in the office building and you 'll see the Kobe Teppanyaki sign. It might be a challenge to travel using Public Transport but...no worries by private vehicle because there are plenty underground car parks available in the building; We 're glad to be invited by Kobe Team to have the Teppanyaki experience. The restaurant was really spacious, clean and neat; It has two sections according to your preference whether you want to have Teppanyaki or A La Carte. We came on the weekend around 7.30 PM and it was so busy full of people celebrating many occasions on the teppanyaki section. The customer service was attentive and friendly; Both chef and customer staff were very professional to ensure to you have or don 't have any allergic or dietary requirements. They 're really concerned with health and safety food delivery. Kobe Teppanyaki offers different teppanyaki set according to your preference. Kobe Set: combination of different proteins chicken, beef seafood Tatsuta Age Deep Fried Chicken Kaisen Set: combination of seafood Prawn, Scallops, Squid, Salmon Tokyo Set: combination of different proteins chicken, beef seafood Wagyu Set: combination of beef seafood Premium Wagyu Beef, Lobster, Scallop Salmon Yasai Set Vegetarian : Eggplant, Tofu, Mushroom, Vegetable Tempura During our visit, we 're advised by the manager to have Kobe Set. Each teppanyaki table consists between 6 8 people, we 're being looked after by the friendly, funny and nice chef Howard. One of the good thing about having teppanyaki is to make new friends and enjoy the show from the skillful chef. The entree dishes Miso Soup, Salad Tatsuta Age Deep Fried Chicken and our drinks came first while the chef was still preparing the cooking and heating up the teppanyaki cooktop. We ordered Japanese Sunset orange juice, apple juice, raspberry and Virgin Pina Colada coconut, pineapple juice . Both mocktail drinks had a fantastic and amazing taste; Not only the taste but the presentation was also appealing, we 've got couple questions from other guests asking about what drinks we had LOL : We had good first impression on their entree dish fried chicken. It was crispy and crunchy from the outside, perfectly cooked from the inside. It wasn 't greasy and well seasoned; As soon as we finished our entree, we couldn 't wait to find out our teppanyaki main highlights seafood, chicken beef . To begin the teppanyaki show, the chef cooked the garlic and this made us really hungry due to the fragrance coming from fried garlic. Ohhh each of you will be getting two dipping sauces: Citrus Soy which 's perfect companion for seafood and Sesame dipping sauce for chicken and beef. The chef would offer you Spicy Mayo this is so good!! on the side if you want to add extra spicy flavour. The chef cooked Prawn, Sakana Fish and Teriyaki Chicken altogether into one teppanyaki cooktop. The prawn, Sakana Basa Fish and Chicken were perfectly grilled and well seasoned. Both Basa fish and Teriyaki chicken were so tender and juicy. The taste was really rich and flavourful. For the steak, We asked for Medium Rare Steak and it was perfectly grilled as we asked. The steak was very juicy and good quality; Hmm we 're just wondering how good would that be if you choose the Premium Wagyu Set???!! The chef totally nailed all the protein dishes. After having all heavy dishes, we had the grilled seasonal vegetables with bean sprouts, mushrooms, carrots and spinach. Finally, we had fried rice; We 're so entertained while he was preparing the fried rice. It 's the game time where you need to catch the bowl of fried rice. Mr.Epi didn 't manage to keep up with the game; he ruined the game and dropped the fried rice on the floor ... He felt bad to have the customer staff cleaning the floor On the other hand, Miss.Epi managed to catch the bowl though almost dropped it!! LOL There is always a place for a dessert Ice Cream Black Sesame, Green Tea, Vanilla, Red Bean We opted for the black sesame and green tea. The ice cream was really delicious, creamy and not too sweet! Love both black sesame and green tea. Overall, we had such an amazing night to have teppanyaki experience in Kobe Teppanyaki. We 'd definitely come back when we 're around this area and recommend this place to our friends. Note: We’d like to say thank you to Kobe Teppanyaki’s team for having us. "Really good vegan cheese. Not oil based so its really light and creamy. Good value. Price is inbetween dominos and crust. Gluten free based just taste like regular thin base! Good amount of toppings. Will buy again!"

"I don't like to write negative critikens, but in this case the service was so inappropriate that I would like to deter others from the waste of their hard-earned gelding on this over expensive suburban. a friend organized a group dinner, the first time that each of...it was everywhere on the market for a year because of my girlfriend it had been, maybe there were times before and rave about the food and service. I was really excited about the evening! I eat a keto diet and was very clear about the owner. when a large plate of broth and olive oil has been placed on the table keto is simple; no grains, no sugar, no high-carb vegetables) I asked if I might have a bottle of olive? the owner explained that he stopped serving olives because his diners spit on the floor! Maybe portentous given my experience? So no, it seems there were no olives available for this diner. no olive in a restaurant? when I asked for a certain salat for me (small, green, simple lemon and olive oil dressing) I had to ask three times before he took my order, so he intended on the bragging 'leave it to me, I will all put them in the middle of the table'. it was not a rocket science, but this type made me seriously uncomfortable to ask what I wanted. at each oyster, the oysters were small and disappointing. the shell was cold while it was tasteful. my medium-sized steak was overdue and cold. it came decorated with a slender fiber band of sweet kartoffels like a flag. on the plate was nothing else; No one asked us the six as our meals were, or I asked for another steak. because the owner had made it abundantly clear that whispering would not be an option for me, I decided to make my exit after my terrible pornstar and approach him to settle my bill at the bar. it was no other way around (and surprisingly, it was hardly a busy night) but he audibel sighed complaining “we do not share invoices”. coming from the worst abort in the history of Australia, a group of six people who could spend more than they could normally afford to support the choice of our friend of suburban dining and again, was I made to feel small and uncomfortable with my last question? I stood on my floor, I said I knew exactly what I had (I don't drink any alcohol) and left after the payment for most average meal I had in a long time. again I was not asked if I had enjoyed my meal. I am stunned that this place will make it possible to stay open based on my experience. I had budgeted for my meals, doubling them my usual dining room budget (and when I say my industry was ignored by any government covid support, so this was a big deal) in my favorite Fitzroy-Pub, which could show this place one or two about hospitality, a word that ironically promises to be hospitable. I am stunned that the owner was so deaf on simple asking and seemed to miss the important task to ensure that five new diners had a nice experience and possibly would return. by the way, if they are brave enough to waste their money here, they do not sit on the front or risk of being blinded by the sunset. instead of looking at clever design options, the owner cried again about the advice and their refusal to allow blinds that would block the sun. a beautiful large pottery would do the trick and add something ambiente to this austere facility. since I do not return, I can only hope that some lessons can be learned from this terrible experience of this diner."

"Pizzas here are always good. Service is reasonably fast but be prepared to wait a little as they are always busy. It is good to order ahead by phoning the order through. "The staff are well trained and ready to serve. There were quite a few bookings, yet they found me a table and brought cold water with a menu. They took a drink order right away and the food order was collected soon after. I had...a Croque Monsieur, which is really just a fancy toasted sandwich (and priced accordingly). The Croque and my coffee were both good and the whole ordering and payment process went very smoothly."

"This tiny little Japanese restaurant in Jackson Court, Doncaster has been around for many years and continues to dish up fairly authentic Japanese food. <br/ <br/ We visited on a weekend. The interior was pretty tiny (so booking ahead for larger numbers is a good tip! . We ordered a range of bento boxes and side dishes. Everything looked attractive but serving sizes were on the smaller side. It was also quite pricey. <br/ <br/ Some highlights included the miso eggplant (which was a real pleasure to eat and the fresh sashimi. The teriyaki sauce accompanying the bento boxes was delicious. It was slightly smokey and full of umami goodness! <br/ <br/ Service was polite. Their desserts were pretty awesome too especially the strawberry mochi which was far superior when compared to the ones we had in Tokyo recently. <br/ <br/ Previously:<br/ <br/ Great service, fresh ingredients and lovely tastes. It's always a pleasure to eat here. The restaurant is tiny though so do consider booking a table before rocking up. The strawberry mochi is to die for. Even better than the ones you get overseas!"
