Wild boar are actually a bit of a menace on the island and so locals hunting them is encouraged. This guy sets up a little BBQ on the left side of the road in Anahola when heading North on 56. Blink and you'll be sad you missed it. I'm a stickler for BBQ and this guy does it right. It is tender and delicious without having the BBQ upstage the flavors of the wild boar. Amazing! The skeletal remains of a fruit stand are all that we could find. No pork. No fruit. No bueno....
